ROIPL, through its Customs-licensed brokerage arm, RO Ilagan Customs Brokerage, has established a reputable name in assisting its various clients on tariff consultation, documentation and releasing about their shipments—whether import or export--involving Customs, PEZA, BOI and other related agencies.

Ship / Aircraft Chartering
ROIPL has undertaken a number of ship charters for origin-to-project site deliveries. In 2011, it arranged for the shipping (using Jumbo Shipping) of 2 x 255-ton European-branded generator sets, 2 x 450-tonner crane and 28 x 40’ laden with power components from Taiwan to Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.

ROIPL regularly receives aircraft freighter availabilities from its network overseas for logistics requiring special freighter air transport from/to any part in the world to/from the Philippines.

Regular usage of barges for deliveries to areas where port facilities are a challenge has established ROIPL as one of the top clients of barging companies, which gives it preferential priority in deployment and rates for this high demand equipment and a critical component when the only mode of transport for sending an off-gauge shipment is by a barge.



Ship Agency Management

In its thrust to cover all stages of project logistics activities, especially for ships calling port in the Philippines. ROIPL has a team that can take care of the ship’s and its crews’ documentation and coordination with Immigration, Customs, Quarantine and other related agencies before its arrival to, during its stay in, and prior departure from, a Philippine port.
